The Boyfriend Balloon
I opened the door to let my boyfriend in. Kale smiled as he entered and hugged me.
"Hey, babe." He said. I smiled and we went into my living room/kitchen and he sat down on the couch as I went and grabbed some chips. He began feeling around in his pockets for some reason, and while I pulled out chips from the bag, he pulled out random pieces of paper and other crap like that.
"I don't remember putting this in here." I looked over at him as he played around with a stick of something.
"Cigarette?" I asked.
"Of course not! No, I think this is gum." he unwrapped it and looked at it.

The Spell
Nathan was miserable. He was living alone, in a one bedroom apartment, unable to sleep, unable to think, unable to just do something . He had a job he hated, he could never keep a relationship for very long, and to top it off, he was slowly slipping into a depression. If things didn't turn around... he didn't know what would happen.
This night was no different from any other night, as he tossed and turned, unable to find a comfortable spot to sleep in. He sighed, and sat up, before grabbing his laptop, and walking out to his living room, which was a small affair, with a low ceiling and minimal furniture.

As the bell rang for Last period to end, Jillian walked out of her class and waited outside for her two friend's, Sam and Brooke. A rare non-popping story from me. Admittedly, this one's goofy. If BalloonFan hadn't told me that he liked it, I'm not sure if I'd re-post this one. There are times when I want to be a balloon so much that it drives me nuts, and this clearly came out of one of my nutty phases.
